The News learns with sincere regret of the death of Mrs. J.W. Sipes at their home a few miles west of the city last Saturday. Mrs. Sipes had been an invalid for some years and although her death at any time was expected the bereavement will fall with none the less crushing wight upon Mr. Sipes, who had but recently made a public sale of his property preparatory to removing his invalid wife to their old home in Delaware county, Ohio, hoping thereby to benefit her health. In this great sorrow he has the sympathy of many friends.
The funeral services of Mrs. J.W. Sipes will be held at the Jackson school house, District No. 14, next Sunday morning at 11 o'clock. Elder John Miller will preach the funeral sermon.
