Joe Singleton served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving family man. He will be missed by his both his immediate family and his large extended family and many many friends. Joe will forever be remembered for his ever present smile, kind nature, and love of family and church. He the owner of a grading company, a self-made man.
He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Donna Singleton Daniel and his brother Frank Singleton.
Known fondly as "Big Joe," he was a respected and well loved member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He leaves behind his cherished wife, a beloved daughter, son and daughter-in-law, three grandsons, two granddaughters, and the light of his life, his beautiful little great-granddaughter. He is also survived by one brother and several sisters.
He died at Grady Memorial Hospital during an extended surgery following an auto accident.
He was eulogized eloquently at his funeral at the LDS church. The two beautiful hymns, "How Great Thou Art" and "Abide With Me" were sung by the congregation.
Joe was my uncle. He is missed greatly. He was a kind and gentle man, a hard working man, an honest man.
