Mary E. Locke, 76, 1307 S. Walnut St., died Friday in The Woodlands Nursing Home, where she had lived the past few weeks.

Mrs. Locke was born in Ripley County, moved to Muncie as a child and attended Muncie schools. She worked several years for Superior Laundry, retiring in the mid-1970s. She was a member of Full Gospel Temple Church.

Survivors include three sons, James "Mac" Locke, Clarence "Bud" Locke and Henry Locke, all of Muncie; three daughters, Mrs. Denny (Wanda) Helton, Mrs. Forrest (Rosie) Storms, and Mrs. Mike (Robin) Stader, all of Muncie; a brother, Harold John Stephens, Muncie; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Betty) Baker, Muncie; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Full Gospel Temple Church. Burial will be in Tomlinson Cemetery, southwest of Muncie. Calling will be 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel, and an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
