Henry B. Williams, 75, of 825 W. First St., died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday at his home after a long illness. He had been a resident of Muncie most of his life and had retired from Broderick Co. three years ago after being employed there 47 years.
Mr. Williams leaves his wife, Grace; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Baker, Mrs. Elizabeth Locke, Mrs. Margaret Winkler, Mrs. Nora Mann and Mrs. Edith Staker, all of Muncie; four sons, Hershel Williams, Lawrence Shockley and Lawrence Shockley Jr., all of Muncie, and Milton Williams of Denver, Colo.; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Zur Williams and Milton Williams, both of Muncie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Parson Mortuary with Rev. James Helton and Rev. Arnold Pearcy in charge. Burial will be in Tomlinson Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:30 p.m. Monday.
