Frederick St., died at 9:40 p.m.
Thursday in Memorial Hospital.
A veteran of World War I,
he was the owner of Barber's
Sewing Supplies for 25 years.
He was a member of the Broadway
Methodist Church, Tipton Masonic
Lodge Masonic Chapter, Council
and Commandery, Order of Eastern
Star Rotary Club, and Eagles and Elk
Lodges.
Born Dec. 10, 1898, in La-
grange County, he was the son
of Albert and Dora Bowman
Barber. His marriage on March
19, 1921, in Lansing, Mich:; was
to Mene L. Edington, who survives.
Also surviving are a son,
Gayle, of 1423 E. Broadway; a
brother, Gerald of Midland,
Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie
Eldridge of Fort Wayne,, Mrs.
Alberta Ratliff of New Haven,
and Mrs. Dorothy Dill of Glendale,
Calif.; three grandchildren,
and several nieces and'
nephews.
Services win be at 2 p.m
Monday at the McCloskey-Ham-
ilton-Kahle Funeral Home, with
the Rev. Frank Little officiating.
The Masonic Lodge will be in
charge of graveside services a
Mt. Hope Cemetery. The Elks
Lodge will hold services at 7:30
p.m. Sunday in the Funeral Home.
