"MRS. ELIZABETH MOSS --- The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Moss was held Monday at three p.m. from the Baptist church, conducted by Rev. J.E. Wilkins, of Emerson. The following brief sketch of the deceased was read at the services: Elizabeth Morford was born in Mercer county, Pennsylvania, Nov. 14, 1828 and departed this life Sept. 3, 1911. When about 14 years of age she was converted and united with the Baptist in Indiana and remained a faithful christian to the end. She was united in marriage to Wm. Stock in 1847, who departed this life in 1868. In 1874 she was again married to Wm. Moss. For the past 15 years Mrs. Moss has made her home with her brother F.M. Morford of this place where she was called to the better world Sunday about 4:30 a.m. Five brothers and one sister are left to mourn her loss. Her last sickness was of but short duration. All that loving and willing hands could do, was done but the Lord knew best and called her to her reward."
