Albert Aguero, 90, passed away on Dec. 30, 2013, at home in Westminster, Colo. He was born on March 20, 1923, in Pueblo, Colo., to Simon and Conception Aguero. Albert was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II. He worked at the Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant in Boulder, Colo., before his retirement. Albert was a member of the Eagles, Elks and VFW. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 8, 2014, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, Colo. The family will be greeting friends and relatives after the services at VFW Post 5061, 5220 Warren Ave., Denver, CO 80227.
