A native of Vance County, the daughter of the late Lartha Allen and Judy Myrick Hedgepeth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie E. Broyal, a sister, Bertie H. Clark and three brothers; Grady, Herbert and Alton Hedgepeth.
