Amon Richard Boydston, was the son of The Rev. John Calvin Boydston and Judy Ann "Judah" Blevins of Jackson and Dekalb Counties in Alabama on Sand Mountain. Boydston (1896-1918), Maude Jane Boydston, sister..Auda Liene Boydston, sister..Onda S. Boydston (1899-1927), and sister, Nova Mitilda Boydston. These are the children...that I know of. Amon Richard Boydston, married Arminda Scott (of Ider) 15 December 1907 Dekalb County, Alabama. They had ten children that I know of; Edith Marie Boydston (1908-2010), Hershel Boydston (1910-2008), Tola Boydston (1914-2014), Wertley Willard Boydston (1915-2005), Flona D. Boydston (1917-2014), Vera Verdalene Boydston (1920-2001), a daughter...Opalla Boydston ((1923-1923) Gertha Lee Boydston (1924-2010) and a daughter, Zula Magnola Boydston (1928-2016). Amon and Arminda "Mindy" Scott- Boydston, lived their whole life together in Dekalb County, Alabama. All their Children went to school at Ider. Amon would love to tell you stories about "Jesse James"... He and Mindy are missed and loved by all who knew them....and will be remembered. Their daughters are; Girtha Lee Stoner & Ivonene Thompson.
