Her Grandparents were, William Thomas Scott (1834-1862) and Elmina P. Little-Dodson of Muscadine, Alabama in Cleburne County. Her grandfather was a Confederate Civil War soldier...his memorial # is 185-353-484 and her grandmother, Elmina's memorial is # 185-353-271. "Mindy" was raised in Ider, Alabama and went to school there. She married Amon Richard Boydston (1883-1976) December 15, 1907 at Ider. They had nine children that I know of: Edith Marie Boydston (1908-1999)....Hercial Boydston (1910-2008)...Tola Boydston (1914-2014)...Werthley Willard Boydston (1915-2005)...Flona D. Boydston (1917-2014)... Vera Verdalene Boydston (1920-2001).. Opalla Boydston (1923-) ... Gertha Lee Boydston (1924-2010) and daughter, Zula Magnola Boydston born 16 March 1928 Ider, Alabama died in 2016. Her husband, Amon Richard Boydston, parents were The Rev. John Calvin Boydston and Judy Ann ("Juda") Blevins of Jackson County, Alabama. Everyone who knew Mindy loved her very much. She will always be missed.
