A service for Catherine McMains Keeney, 64, of Marble Falls is 11 a.m. Jan. 11 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444, with Holton George officiating. Burial will follow at Chappell Hill Cemetery in San Saba County.

Catherine was born Sept. 19, 1949, in Uvalde, Texas, to Samuel and Norma McMains and passed from this life Jan. 8, 2014, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was a 1968 graduate of Marble Falls High School. She married the love of her life, Douglas Keeney, in 1971 and was a loving mother, homemaker and coach's wife for 42 years. She was a member of Lake Country Church of Christ in Marble Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Jean McMains.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Keeney of Marble Falls; daughters, Jamie Johnson and husband Barry of San Antonio and Kristi Wilborn and husband Duane of Elk Grove, Calif.; two grandchildren, Leilani Johnson and Christian Wilborn; brothers, Warren Gene Williams and wife Dusty of Tennessee and Chuck McMains and wife Lisa of Santa Fe, Texas; sister, Sandra Lee Thurman and husband Damon of Leander; sister-in-law, Linda Linn and husband Ronnie of Alamogordo, N.M.; seven nieces; four nephews; aunt Frances Tidwell of Uvalde; and numerous cousins and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff of Highland Lakes Hospice of Fredericksburg and the staff at Texas Oncology in Austin.
