Allen "Ernie" Adams

Allen "Ernie" Adams passed away Jan. 5, 2014, in Jackson, Calif., after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Adrienne Adams of Railroad Flat, Calif.; devoted son of Allen Adams and Shirley Mendoza; loving father of Halfmoon and Breann Adams, Walter, Samantha and Chelsea Zimmerman and Cynthia Cook; loving brother of Letisia and Carolyn Adams, Shelli Cameron, Tony, Tracy and Brenda Adams, Michelle Stevens, Judy Prince, Ramaijo Mendoza and the late Rick McCullough.
Ernie was born Nov. 9, 1953, in Medford, Ore., and was a member in good standing of the United Auburn Indian Community and a Chairperson of the UIAC Tribal Preservation Community.
Memorial services will be held tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m., at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Road in Placerville. In lieu of flowers contributions in Ernie's name may be made to a favorite charity.
