Funeral services will be held here tomorrow for Mrs. Emma Bertram Woodruff, 84, widow of one of the pioneer manufacturers of automobile hardware. Mrs. Woodruff died Saturday night in New Haven Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of New Orleans, La., and was for many years a resident of St. Louis, Mo. She came to Hamden with her husband, the late Walter W. Woodruff, in 1910 and had lived here until a few years ago when she moved to New Haven. She leaves two sons, Walter A. of Washington, D.C, and Harold Woodruff of Hamden; three daughters, Mrs. George S. Fowler, of Glen Ridge, N.J., Mrs. Donald D Williams, of White Plains, N.Y. and Mrs. Harold K. English of New Haven. Services will be held at Mt. Carmel Congregational Church.
