LAKEWOOD, Calif. — Services for Charlie Brooks of Lakewood, Calif., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Carrollton.
Mr. Brooks. 76, died of heart failure Tuesday. Dec. 24, 2013.
He is survived by a son, Terry Brooks of Carrollton, Texas; a daughter. Carla Holmes of Carrollton, Miss.; three sisters. Earlene Lott of McCarley, Martella Williams of Carrollton and Claudine Williams of Compton, Calif.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at Byas Funeral Home.
The Rev. Terry Williams will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
