MACKINAW - (PNS) - Mrs. Catherine Hasty, 78, died at 1 p.m. (daylight) Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wanda Slack, in Mackinaw.

The body was taken to the Haensel Funeral home in Mackinaw where it will remain until Sunday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. (daylight) Sunday at the Lily Christian church, the Rev. H. W. C. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery near Danvers.

She was born July 8, 1868, near Mackinaw a daughter of Patrick and Anna Fisher Powers. She was married to John Hasty Sept. 4, 1885. Her husband and two sons preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons, Arthur, Clifton and David all of Mackinaw and two daughters, Mrs. Stack and Mrs. Winifred Wingstirn of El Paso; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Stover of Le Roy, Mrs. Julia Sellers of Hopedale and Mrs. Blanche Brewer of Mackinaw; one brother, John of Bloomington; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was a member ot the Lily Christian church and of the Ladies Aid society.
