Lawrence W. Hutchison, 94, of Shelburn, passed away at 5:40 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001 at Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan.
Born Feb. 12, 1907 in Sullivan County, he was the son of Jake and Ida (Hagerman) Hutchison.
He was a farmer and retired from Sherwood Templeton Mine.
Survivors include, one son, Donald Hutchison and wife Georgia of Shelburn; three daughters, June Bolinger, Edith Miller and husband Bob of Shelburn, and Esther Fox and husband Lavern of Claxton, Ga., one sister, Vivian Cox of Pleasantville; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lovina Mounts Hutchison in 1974; his second wife, Violet Brown Hutchison in 1993; six brothers, Warnie, Bill, Andrew, Dick, Ted and Everett Hutchison; two sisters, Lillian Schrader and Clarice Enochs; and his parents.
Funeral services will be at Newkirk Funeral Home in Dugger at 1 p.m. on Friday with the Rev. Sherman Beville officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery.
