Beatrice Pike Bailey, 88, of Rock Springs Drive, Kingsport, passed away at Wexford House of Kingsport.
She was born on September 14, 1925 and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2014.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of GreeneLawn Baptist Church.
Bea was a very active member of Caney Branch Volunteer Fire Department while she lived in Greene County. She was always assisting with anything needed at the fire department.
She was also a very active member of the Caney Branch Home Demonstration Club (FCE) and served as President of the St. James PTA.
She was a devoted, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be sadly missed.
She was the daughter of the late Henry Frank and Delia Massey Pike and was preceded in death by six brothers: Gene, Roy, Rayford, Joe, Frank, and Marshall Pike; and one sister: Grace "Sally" Pike.
The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, January 14, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lawrence Pack officiating.
Interment will be at 1pm Wednesday at Lafayette Cemetery in Georgia.
Pallbearers will be Loyd Holt, Ryan Holt, Kendall Bowers, Bob Myers, John Ottinger, and Larue Neas.
Dale Dunn and Larry Burkey will serve as honorary pallbearers.
