Dr. N. L. Berry a former resident of this place, died suddenly Sat. night at his home in North Whitefield. Death was attributed to heart failure and the end came very quickly and unexpectedly. This community was deeply grieved to hear of his death as he was liked very much here both in his profession and outside of it.
Dr. Berry came here from Massachusetts quite a few years ago and has resided in Windsor until lately when he moved to North Whitefield. He was a man of fine character, a good doctor and well liked by everyone. His loss will be felt by all.
The funeral was held Tuesday from his late home and was largely attended. The body was entombed at Whitefield. [Lincoln County News, Mar 02, 1922, Whitefield news column]
