Gobo Fango came to America with Henry Talbot, but was not his child. This was established through letters in my family's possessions.

Suggested edit: For some strange reason the headstone has the wrong date on it. Her church records show she died 21 May 1903 and her Obituary is found in the "Salt Lake Telegram" (Salt Lake City) 22 May 1903 - Fri- Page 2.
States:
Utah
KAYSVILLE: Mrs. Ruth Talbot, the widow of the late Henry Talbot of Kaysville, died yesterday morning of old age and general Debility. The deceased was born in Kent, England, February 4, 1817; went to South Africa in 1820 and married Henry Talbot in 1833. She joined the Mormon church in 1858 and immigrated to Utah in 1860, locating in Kaysville, which has been her home ever since. Deceased was the mother of sixteen children, thirteen of whom survive her. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren number about 300.

Please note that their home was in Kaysville at the time of her death. Later the city of Layton annexed that area and now the land her home was on is in Layton, Davis county, Utah.
