The deceased was born in Kent, England, February 4, 1817; went to South Africa in 1820 and married Henry Talbot in 1833. She joined the Mormon church in 1858 and immigrated to Utah in 1860, locating in Kaysville, which has been her home ever since. Deceased was the mother of sixteen children, thirteen of whom survive her. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren number about 300.
