Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Tuesday, December 7, 1971, page 11:
  Florence R. Engels, 87, of Glen Carbon, died at 10 p.m. Monday in the Anna-Henry Nursing Home, where she had lived for several years.
  She was born Oct. 16, 1884, in Maryville, a daughter of Frank and Antoinette Kotiza Kubicek.
  Her husband, George W. Ingels, died in 1943.
  Survivors are a son, Earl Ingels of Summit, N.J.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. John (Minnie) Leitner of Edwardsville.
  She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church at Glen Carbon and the Royal Neighbors of America.
  Friends may call at the Pletcher Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
  The Rev. Roger Simpson, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, will conduct the last rites at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
  A memorial Mass is planned for later, due to the holy day Wednesday.
  The family suggests memorials to charity.

Pallbearers were Robert Kubicek, Tim Hearn, Aurie Primnas, Frank Shashek, Allen Kennedy and Arnold Leitner.
