Born Susan Sacrey on 2 Feb 1805 in Shelby, Kentucky she was the daughter of James Sacrey and Johanna Crutcher on March 2nd 1830 She married Valentine Flynn to this union ten children were born John R, Alfred , William W, Marion F, George W , Reuben H , Johanna C, Mary J, Rowena E , Thomas D. About 1855 Susan & Valentine moved from Kentucky to Indiana where she was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. She passed away on the 6th of January 1866 in Boone County Indiana ,she was survived by her husband Valentine Flynn and at least nine of their ten children , she was preceded in death by her Father James Sacrey a revolutionary war vet, her sister Nancy Sacrey ( Isaac) Cook 12391010 and half siblings Robert T Sacrey, John Collins ( Margaret) Sacrey Margaret Sacrey ( Jesse) Cook and Mary Sacrey.
