Lillie Flo Cash Rogers lived almost all her life in Phil Campbell, Franklin County, Alabama except for the few years her husband Edward Franklin Rogers was in the ARMY & her parents Joseph Buffington Cash & Lillie Louellen Arnold Cash were in Buffalo, Erie County, New York looking for work.
They had an apartment near her parents and during this time she gave birth to her 1st child Linda Anne , June 28, 1953. Returning home to Phil Campbell by 1955 they lived just below the school and very close to her parents. On October 3rd, 1957 their 2nd child was born Melody Joan. My mother named her after a movie theater. Moving from Phil Campbell city to what was Rural Route # 2 in 1958 she remained there until her death.
She was employed as a secretary at the law firm of Jerry Jackson ,in Haleyville, Winston County, Alabama for 28 1/2 years and enjoyed her job very much.
She was an amazing cook , an intelligient hard working wife and mother, very capable at anything she set her mind to do.
She loved flowers, her pets , antiques and shoes.
She is loved and missed very much.
Cremated, Ashes scattered.
Specifically: Per her request her husband, daughters, son in law and grandchildren gathered on the first pretty windy day after her cremation and scattered her ashes atop what the family always referred to as "the hill" a pasture on the east side of the family home.

" In life " she said " I could not dance but now I will dance on the hill "
