Myrna graduated from Kingsdown High School in 1946. She married Lloyd J. Logan on September 21,1945 in Doge City,KS. They divorced. In January of 1948, she began attending Wilcox Beauty School and then worked as a beautician for many years. She was the owner of Myrna's Beauty Shop. Myrna married William "Charles" Austin on October 30,1951 in Dodge City,KS. He preceded her in death on May 20,2004. Myrna loved her family and was always there to help when needed.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Kingsdown and attended the First Missionary Church in Dodge City,Ks.
Myrna is survived by one son, James(Vicki)Austin of Dodge City,KS; three daughers: Linda Logan and husband, Ken Bednar of Bloomington, MN, Terrie S. Austin of Dodge City,KS, Nancy L.(Terry)Hamilton of Dodge City,KS; grandchildren: Michael, Michelle, Brooke, Lori, Jeremy, Chris, Keysha, Kamry, Keenan, Kordell, Shelby, Katie, Nicholas, Alex, Sierra, Taggart, Kiffany, Kari, Tristin, and Kamden.
Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City, Ks on Monday, January 27,2014 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Jeff Turner presiding. Burial will follow at Bucklin Cemetery.
