Larry Raymond Jophlin, 75, of Pana, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in his residence. He was born March 24, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Edward Thomas Jophlin, Sr. & Anna Elizabeth Jophlin. Larry lived most of his life in Pana, and had worked for Essex. He enjoyed fishing & playing washers, and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Pana.
Larry Jophlin & Diane Hinton were married on June 8, 1996 in Pana. She survives in Pana, along with children: Grace Smith & husband Millard, Rural Center, IN; Teresa Jophlin, Carrollton, IL; Timothy Jophlin, Pana, IL; Cathy Carrell & husband Kermit, Pana, IL; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and sisters: Corene Chirch, Pana, IL & Letha Stevens, Indianapolis, IN. He was preceded by his parents and 14 brothers & sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Allen Ebbler officiating. Burial will be in Twin Pines Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
