Wilma L. Monday
Wilma L. Monday, 85, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at University Heights Convalescent Center in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born Oct. 14, 1914, in Hartsville. Her parents were John R. and Anna E. (Donica) Baum. She married James Arthur Monday II. He preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Howard E. Monday of Westminster, Colo., James A. Monday III of Silver Dale, Wash., and Raymond A. Monday of Indianapolis; three daughters, Doris M. Turner of Thorton, Colo., Anna E. Stoneking of Conyers, Ga., and Edna F. McKinney of Greenwood; two brothers, Paul Jophlin of Indianapolis and Larry Jophlin of Pana, lll.; four sisters, Corene Chirch of Pana, Ill., Letha Stevens and Barbra Hardwick, both of Indianapolis, and Georgia Hampton of Greenwood; 26 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Cannon and Ednabel Cosand; and a brother, John Robert Baum.
She was employed for 10 years by Walker Cleaners as a clerk, retiring in 1975.
The Rev. Randy Maynard will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Satur-day at Wilson St Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis.
