Greenville, WV – At his home near Greenville, WV on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, Pastor Nathan Adkins, 76, attended by his faithful wife and loved ones passed away after having fought a good fight, laid down his cross, went Home to wear his crown of glory and joined the angelic choir in the grand sweet chorus of praise to his Savior. As those he loved vainly pleaded for "one more word" realized that this precious life of their loved one was ebbing away we fancied we could almost hear his Savior whisper, "Come Home to Me, dear one: My weary suffering child come home, and I will give you rest and doubtless with tender unspoken farewells his pure spirit was gone. He is not lost lonely sorrowing ones, only gone before, to his mansion in the skies about which he loved to tell you about, there is to await the coming of the dear ones where we sincerely trust each shall be reunited with him "Some Sweet Day."
