Born sometime during the 1796-1804 time frame. Jacob's father was, near certainly, Avery Wilson.

Husband of Nancy Reynolds Wilson.

Resided in eastern Sussex Co., DE all or most of his life.

Died sometime during the 1860s or 1870s (almost surely the latter).

No marked grave is known or believed to survive anywhere for Jacob.

FYI: There were two Jacob Wilsons, born within a few years of one another, who always lived in the same general part of Sussex Co. Jacob E. Wilson, died 1887, who is buried in Conleys Chapel Cemetery in Angola by the Bay, Sussex Co., was the other Jacob. He was definitely a different man than is the Jacob documented in the memorial you are viewing now.
