Services for Donna Jean Aday, 52, Shawnee, formerly of Ada, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Emmitt Hazelwood officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Aday died Jan. 27, 2002, at a Shawnee Hospital. She was born Sept. 28, 1949, at Ada, to George W. and Ethel I. Yancy Archer.

She attended school at Byng and Irving and graduated fromm Byng High School in 1961.

She attended medical school in Miami, Florida for two years and Lela's Beauty College. She became a licensed beautician in 1962.

She married Michael L. Aday, November 26, 1984, at Denison, Texas.

She was affiliated with the Evangelistic Temple.

She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Aday, Shawnee; a sister, Jolene Green, Ada; and a brother, Charles Archer, Ada.

Honorary bearers are Jim Gurley, Gene Gurley, Jack Aday, Jerry Aday, and Russell Aday.

Criswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
