Services for Charles Don Archer, 72, Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Cornerstone Christian Church, Rev. John Mayhue will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home. Mr. Archer died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at a Shawnee nursing home. He was born September 24, 1938 at Ada, Oklahoma to George and Ethel Yancy Archer. He attended Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School. He married Ann Johnson on February 10, 1996 in Ada. Mr. Archer was a self-employed carpenter and currently was employed with Flex-N-Gate in Ada. He served in the U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Ann Archer, of the home; a son, Don Archer and wife Tammy, Granite City, IL; two daughters, Dana Johnson and husband Kevin, Ada and Kris Landrith and husband David, Ada; a sister, Jolene Green and husband Jimmy, Ada; six grandchildren, Jennifer Pisaniello, Christina Ramsey, Nicole Carr, DeShanna Wilson, Brooklyn Johnson and Mikeal Johnson; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Donna Aday. Bearers will be Ben Condon, Jim Smith, Larry Edens, Jeremy Moody, Dusty Keeling, and Jerry Fleming.
