Mrs. Alice Peed Godfrey, aged 66, wife of Arthur L. Godfrey died at the residence, Virginian Beach Boulevard, yesterday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. L.H. Jackson; a son, A. Clarke Godfrey, both of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Eula Host; a brother, Samuel Peed, both of Portsmouth, and three grandchildren. Mrs. Godfrey was a member of the Kempsville Baptist Church and was teacher of the Ladies' Bible Class.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
