Mr. Aaron was the son of the late Eppsey and Delila Aaron and was born in Alabama April 2, 1900.
He is survived by his wife; seven sons, Loyce, Virgil and Hobert of Coulterville, Ules of Steeleville, Ill., Hubert of Sparta, Jimmy of Evansville, Ill., and Billy of Zion, Ill.; three daughters, Vernie May Downey of Sparta, Faye Glass of Dallas, Texas and Deene Moore of Coulterville; a brother, Lester of Slickville, Pa.; a sister, Ester Reese; 31 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and 22 step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Grissom, Ray Grissom, Bobby Aaron, Virgil Aaron Jr., Jackie Aaron, and Ricky Aaron. Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti.
