Clark Mills – Mrs. Gemelia Abaied, 77, of 151 Woody Lane, Rochester, NY, former Clark Mills resident, died Wednesday in the Maple Park Nursing Home, Webster. She was born in Lebanon, July 4, 1900. She came to the United States at an early age, and was educated in Clark Mills schools. In Lowell, Massachusetts in 1915, she married Kendar Abaied. For many years the couple resided in Clark Mills. Mr Abaied died in 1968. For a few years, she was employed by the Skenandoah Knitting Mills and the Hind and Harrison Plush Company in Clark Mills. Mrs Abaied was a member of the Mohammade Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Donald (Fannie) Titus of Rochester; three sons, Hammad Abaied of Huntsville, Alabama, Saied Abaied of Garden City, Michigan, and James Abaied of Rochester. Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9 from the Owens funeral Home, College Street, Clinton. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends are invited and may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9.
