She was united in marriage to Richard Johnson on May 17, 1947, at Bay View Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay. They were blessed with 51 years of marriage. Richard died May 21, 1998. Together, Clara and Richard owned and operated their family dairy farm in the town of Sevastopol. Clara worked as a housekeeper for Gordon Lodge in Baileys Harbor for six years. Outside of work, she was a homemaker and mother of two children. Throughout the years, Clara enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved dearly. She loved playing cards with friends and family. Clara also enjoyed needlework and knitting.
Her love will live on in the hearts of her daughter and son, Susan (Jim) Glissendorf of Phillips, WI, Richard II (Sherryl) Johnson of Fishers, IN; five grandchildren, Angela (Todd) Resler, Richard III (Stephanie) Johnson, Bradley (Erin) Johnson, Jennifer (Corrie) Bumps, Jeffrey (Kayleigh) Johnson; nine great-grandchildren, Morgan, Marissa, Gavin, Hope, Faith, Courtney, Hunter, Madeline, Zachary; two sisters, Corrine (Robert) Severen of Kewaunee, and Virginia (Eddie) Stellwagen of Green Bay.Clara was welcomed Home by her parents; husband; sister, Marie Kummer; and brother, Victor Londo, Jr.
Clara will be laid to rest at Bayside Cemetery.
