Born in Rochester NY Sister Marianna entered the Religious Teachers Filippini in 1932. She made her profession in 1937 and received a diploma in elementry education from Villa Walsh Normal School. Serving her community as a local superior for 24 years,Sister taught first and second grades at St. Mary of Mount Virgin School, New Brunswick, St. Sebastaian School, Middletown, Conn. and Our Lady of Libera School at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Elizabeth. She taught catechism at Sacred Heart Church, Stamford Conn. and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Montclair. Sister retired to Villa Walsh in 2004, where she spent her last months in the St. Joseph Hall Infirmary. Suriving is a brother Carmen, and sisters, Angelina Pardiso, Ann Ciaccia and Mrs. Phil Ferra. Sister was a faithful daughter of St. Lucy Filippini.
