Caroline Evans married James Lee Adair in Madison Co, Georgia on 4 Sept 1828. (note: She is not to be confused with an Amanda Caroline or Caroline Amanda Evans who is the daughter of William Evans and Elizabeth "Betsy" Combs. That A. Caroline Evans m. James Horn on 5 Jan 1831 in Morgan Co, Georgia. As with all bad genealogy online, please correct this wherever you find it.) Caroline Evans Adair's parentage has not been proved out yet.

The parents of Caroline "may" be another William Evans who married Sela Dunn. An Evans genealogist is working on finding extant proof of this. If these parents are correct, her siblings would then be William M., Thomas J. and Nancy (m. Bailey Bone, 13 Apr 1826, Madison Co) Evans. William and Thomas are living side by side in Paulding Co in 1840. The parents have either died or removed from the area.
