Sent an email requesting information to the following [email protected]. Reply: I found two burial records and the spellings are different. In the Spanish Dry Diggings Cemetery there are two people listed that I believe are the ones you are searching. Jacob Fruechtenicht aged 78 years, 11 months, and 26 days, died 9 March 1905. There is a note in the cemetery listing that says "Mountain Democrat newspaper 3/18/1905; Jacob Fruechtenicht... an old resident of Cherokee Flat near Spanish Dry Diggings, native of Germany". The second listing is "Fruechthneicht, N/A [Mrs] died 01 27 1908. No other information for these two people.
