He passed away (Viral Malaria) at the Veteran's Hospital in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. His wife was Edith Elliott Mapes. They had 4 daughters and the Family had relocated to Rochester, NY. Edith's Parents were Timothy and Phoebe Elliott, both buried here at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
