Rushville - Frank Mapes, 94, a resident of the area since 1937 died Sunday in Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, Penn Yan. Mr. Mapes was born in Brooksville, Pa., October 16, 1892, the son of Lyman and Susan Hull Mapes. He was a retired farmer. Survivors are a daughter Mrs. J. F. Johnson of Middlesex.
Friends may call from 7 to 0 p.m. at the Ness Funeral Chapel, where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. William Jenkins, pastor 9 of the Middlesex Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rushville Cemetery.
