Born Oct. 23, 1900, at Oceana, she was a daughter of the late James E. Rollins (1865-1927) and Fannie Belle Brooks-Rollins (1863-1952); sister of William Bert Rollins (1890-1945), Pearl May Rollins-Brown (1893-1967), Nellie Rollins (1895-Deceased), Herbert Mack Rollins (1898 -1916), Rev Crockett "Wayne" Rollins (1903-Deceased), & Janice Fanning Rollins was (1923-1928).
Survivors include her husband, Jefferson "Earl" Cook (1899-1984); three sons, James Earl Cook (1922-1973) of Oceana, Harry Franklin Cook (1924-1999) and Henry E. Cook Sr. (1929-1998), both of Kopperston; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Lula Cook died at age 71 in a nursing home following a long illness. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny.
