Mr. Dale Land, age 74 of Crockett, went home to be with his Heavenly Father Monday, February 10th at his residence. He was the son of Marvin Preston and Frances Florene Thomas Land. He was a roofing contractor by trade and resided in Conroe for many years, but always called Crockett home.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; son Shane Dale Land; daughters Terry Kay Land, Tammy Dawn Land, Deborah Renee Mottu, Pamela Dale Wyly, Melony Alene McClendon, and Darrelene Ryan; brothers Harold, Delbert Wayne, William Mariam, Charles Francis, Thomas James, and Michael David Land; sisters Rhoma Helon Duffy, and Carolyn Minter; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary Linda Elizabeth Land and Janice Land; and nephew David Anthony Land.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Dale Land will be held Friday, February 14th at the Wesley Chapel Church. Interment was held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
