Mrs Linda Land Birdwell, age 61 of Pennington, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday morning, February 19, 2006 at her residence. Mrs Birdwell was born October 12, 1944 in Freeport and had lived in Houston County for the past 10 years. Mrs Birdwell had worked as a secretary for a roofing company and was a member of The Church of God in Crockett.
Survivors include her sons, Jason Birdwell of Cuero and Brett Allen Birdwell of Conroe; grandaughters, Brooke, Brianna, McKenzie and Haley Birdwell; brothers, Harold Land and wife Shirley; Wayne Land and Dale Land and wife Joyce, all of Crockett; William Land and wife Patty of Porter Springs, Charles Land of Conroe; Tommy Land of Pennington, and Michael Land and wife Marsha of Crockett; sisters Rhoma Helon Land Krischke and husband Harvey of Port St Lucie FL and Carolyn Minter and husband Randy; numerous neices, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death byher parents Marvin P and Frances Thomas Land; and sister, Janice Land.
Funeral Services for Mrs Linda Land Birdwell were held Wednesday, February 22 at 2:00pm in The Church of God in Crockett with the Rev Robert Cannon and the Rev Lonnie Vallance officiating. Interment followed in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Callaway-Allee Funeral Home
