After William was sick and placed in the National Soldier's Home, Cynthea lived with her daughter, Neva Haun and family, back in Boyd county.
William and Cynthea had twelve children: S. Harland, Neva Haun, Jesse, Herman, Nathan Elliot, Newton Elijah, Annis Hull, Benjamin, Jannie or (Christena Bechtold?), Fred and Lillie Spencer, and one that passed away before 1900.
