m. C1787 in Washington Co, PA to Catherine Bailey. They had 2 children: Rachel & Abel (reported by some to have died as infant). Another account for Abel can be reviewed by following the link below. I'm still gathering data for confirmation of either possibility.

Abel was a resident of Washington Co, PA and a Revolutionary War Veteran from Capt Miller's Company. He was scalped by Kickapoo Indians At Covalt's Station near Cincinnati, OH on 27-Feb-1791. Catherine alledgedly was able to recover Abel's scalp, which was easily identifiable by the facts that Abel had blonde or light red hair, and he had a scar from a previous wound.

Covalt Station is where Terrace Park, Ohio is now located.
