Leve Arnold, Sr., 79, of Okeechobee died February 17, 2014. He was born January 4, 1935 in Ft. Pierce to William T. and Lena Arnold.
He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was retired from the Coca-Cola Company.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Irene Arnold; daughter, Robin D. Arnold Flynn; granddaughter, Michelle Lynn Arnold; grandson, David Shane Arnold; and great-grandson, Kaden M. Syler.
He is survived by two sons, Leve Arnold, Jr. (Michelle) and Timmy Arnold (Kathy) of Okeechobee; three daughters, Sandra Freeman (Bruce) of Roseboro, NC, Josephine Smith (Wayne) of North Port, FL and Rachel McKinney (Greg) of Okeechobee; sisters, Jeanette Lofton of Okeechobee, Juanell Goodman, Ethel Durdan of Kissimmee, Tammy Thompson and Janice Arnold (Eddie Conklin); brother, William "Billy" Arnold; aunt, Carrine Grokey of Kissimmee; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014 with Pastor Monroe Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Basinger Cemetery.
