BETTY SOLOMON "Loving Mother and Grandmother"

OLEAN - Betty Solomon of South Union Street died Saturday June 22, 2002 at her residence.

Born June 9, 1912 in Troy, NY she was a daughter of Jacob and Sarah Rosoff Nisoff. On October 5, 1933 she married Isadore "King" Solomon who predeceased her January 26, 1989.

Mrs. Solomon owned and operated the Highway Market for many years with her husband prior to retirement. She was a member of Temple B'Nai Israel and the B'Nai Israel Sisterhood.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Howard) Levine of Manhattan, NY, Roberta Greene of Bozeman, MT; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one sister, Edith (Stanley) Levine of San Diego, CA.

In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Rosenthal and a brother Samuel Nisoff.

Burial will be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
