Age 78, of Janesville, died on Thursday, at Rock Haven Nursing Home. She was born on a farm near Bell Center, Crawford County, the daughter of Lynn Richard and May Belle (Whitaker) Bell. She graduated from Gays Mills High School. Shirley had been employed by Parker Pen, Johnson Quick Flash Oil Co., and Ralph's Designers. She was a member of Cargill United Methodist Church. She loved to golf, music; especially country music, camping, traveling, gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by parents; and siblings: Stuart, Darrel, Robert, Lynn Jr., and Bonnie.
