FRANKFORT -- Minnie B (Farris) Williams, 88 of 4129 South County Road 0 E.W., died at 3:35 p.m. Friday, 24 March 2006, in her home. She had been ill for the past year.

Born 12 July 1917 in Casey County, Kentucky, she was raised and educated there. Her parents were the late James Oscar Farris and Alta Mae Wright.

She married the Rev. Frank Williams on 24 February 1942 in Indianapolis, and he survives.

Mrs. Williams worked in production at Mallory's, retiring in 1982 after 26 years.

She was a member of Antioch Congregational Christian Church, a former member of Jackson Township Modern Mothers Club and a former Pink Lady at the Clinton County Hospital.

Surviving with her husband are 3 daughters, Barbara and husband Phil Bailey of San Antonio, Texas, Joy and husband Tom Dunham of Delton, Michigan, and Helen and husband Jim Stoops of Cutler; and a sister, Myrtle Manuel of Indianapolis; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Beulah Farris of Liberty, Kentucky survive. Preceded in death by 4 brothers, George, Jesse, Chester and Lester Farris; and a great-granddaughter.

Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, 28 March 2006, at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort. Service there 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, 29 March 2006. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Youth Scholarship Fund at the Antioch Congregational Christian Church with envelopes available at Goodwin Funeral Home.
