Chester L. Farris, 65, Indianapolis, died Tuesday (July 30, 1985) in Methodist Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Stevens Chapel of Flowers, with calling from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. He had been a welder 26 years for Ford Motor Co., retiring in 1983. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was born in Liberty, Ky., and had lived here 39 years.
