SOPERTON - Services for Mr. Robert Lewis Moxley Jr., 52, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with burial in the Boiling Springs Cemetery in Treutlen County. Rev. Marty Hooks will officiate.
Mr. Moxley was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was the son of the late Robert Lewis Moxley Sr. and the late Virginia Phillips Moxley. He was a retired deputy with the Treutlen County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Moxley died Wednesday.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Payne Moxley; two sons, Robert Lewis Moxley III of Swainsboro and Reagan Moxley of Swainsboro and sister, Carolyn M. Burch of Savannah.
Pallbearers will be Don Quick, T.J. Hudson, Sid Love, Jeff Hooks, Tony Lyles and Clint Braddy.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 until 9 p.m.
