Obituary:
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Ancelet, 71, southwest of Basco, will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Basco Methodist church. Rev. William H. Klein will conduct the services and burial will be in South Basco cemetery.

Mrs. Junius Vance and William Rampley will sing, accompanied by Mrs. Rampley. Pallbearers will be Homer Jenkins, Caples Jenkins, Raymond Lucie, Ben Stackman, Leon LeMaire and Clyde McLaughlin.

Mrs. Ancelet died Monday in Memorial hospital following a stroke suffered Sunday.

Born Dec. 31, 1882, in Arenzville, Mrs. Ancelet was a daughter of Frederick and Anna Boukemeier Launer. She married Charles Ancelet March 20, 1901, and spent her entire married life on a farm in the Basco vicinity.

Surviving are the widower; three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Gavillet of Galesburg, Mrs. Mabel Johnston of Macomb and Mrs. Vera Cozart of Entiat, Wash.; six sons, Oscar of Medford, Ore., Raymond of Galesburg, Herman of Castro Valley, Cailf., Clarence of Carthage and Maurice and Lucien of Basco, and ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
